The last thing was to weld up was the little bracket that holds the bags at the bottom.  It had a right angle bend on it that I cut off at the right length to space the bag away from the mount.  I first just marked this part and tried to weld it without the bag on. Duh.  I then cut it off and used the bag as a template to position it.  It has to line up perfectly now.  Tack it on with the bag in place and then pull the bag and weld it up nice on both sides.
Now this same shot is all in the present.  You can see the little bracket welded on the bottom rear to mount the bags.   The crash bar is torn up pretty bad but I can't stress enough that it is better to get something torn up mounted and running then to let it sit in your garage for ten years while you mean to get to it.  These torn up bars will serve as a great template to make a new set.  For that set I plan to not run the little wire style rods all the way to the back of the main bar.  I will move the little rods forward so the fit perfectly in the chain cutout pocket in the side of the bags.  Now that will be high-tone.  Stay tuned.
Now you can put the bags into place and work the long bolts through the mounting holes.  The bags are already screwed to the little bracket at the bottom.  It's a little difficult but you can just get your hand behind the shock and fender to push the front bolt through.  It's a little easier to run your hand up the tire from behind to push the rear bolt through.

Printer Instructions:

For Netscape: Open "Files/Page Setup".  Uncheck all boxes.  Set margins to 0.  Open "Files/Print".  Set print range form 1 to 1 in order to suppress the printing of this instruction box.  Open "Files/Print Preview" to se what the page will look like.  Netscape will generally print the colored sections and reverse text.

For Explorer: Open "Files/Page Setup".  Clear contents of header and footer box.  Set margins to 0.  Windows will default values back to minimum possible with your printer (i.e. 0.213).  You can open "Files/Print Preview to see what page will look like.  Open "Files/Print" and set range from 1 to 1 in order to suppress the printing of this instruction box.  Explorer will convert all colored backgrounds to white and all text to black.  Once again, geeks trying to do your thinking rather then doing your work.  Aren't you glad you hate Microsoft?  Don't you wish everyone did?
