Politics happens when more than two
people are involved in anything.

I got interested in politics at a young age when my brother fed me Ayn Rand books.  I now consider myself a libertarian apostate, and many articles here have that tag.

Now with the Trump presidency, politics is more polarized than ever. This is sad since the key thing about a healthy society is compromise, same as for a healthy marriage. 		Having several friends with an interesting politics has exposed me to diverse opinions. Some pals are born-again Christians who praise the Tea Party. Other pals are so liberal they are to the left of Karl Marx. One of them recommends the capital gains tax be set at 100%. I will try to blend all that together and provide some interesting viewpoints you can mull and consider for our short time on earth.
