A day-to-day strive

Electronics

We all spend a lot more on electronics these days. Here are some good and not good gizmos.

When I left home, I had one piece of electronics. It was a Sony military-style AM/FM radio. My parents gave it to me as a goodbye gift. I had no cell phone, no computer, no TV. My cameras were a Pentax 35mm SLR and a Poloroid SX-70. I guess you could call the SX70 an electronic gizmo but I never though of it as such. Life was simple, and surely less exasperating. These days I have two Laptops, a tower computer, 5 digital cameras, two TVs and five stereo recievers. 1971_Sony-radio.jpgThis section is full of electronics I have had, or maybe stuff I want to buy. If its a great thing or piece of junk it will be over in the Keep or Toss category of the Media section. These are more prosaic.
