Machine design is systems design, like a consumer product, but for a system that has to last for decades. At its worse, machine design is "catalog engineering," just rack 'em and stack 'em collection of parts. At its best you can find some great examples of holistic analog design principles, all made into a long-lasting product with good reliability.

This section will host designs of CNC retrofits and original machines, as well as 3D printer concepts and fingerprint readers.
